Soar's winter anorak fits close to the body, like a top rather than a traditional bulky cold weather jacket. It is cut to hip height with semi-raglan sleeves. It can be worn either direct-to-the-skin or over a thin base layer.

It comes in Italian-made STORM fabric. A durable water repellent (DWR) treatment is applied twice, first to the yarn, then to the fabric. This combines with a heat-shrunk, tightly woven windproof weave to create a weatherproof stretch fabric. 

The four-panel tailored fit, taped seams, thumb loops, and snug-fitting hood are designed to keep the cold weather out. It is finished with reflective seams and a spacious rear pocket and chest pocket.
